Shelton was founded in 1974 by Anne, Robert, Kenneth and Hugh Barber to market and distribute confectionery products to the Irish Wholesale and Retail trade. The company continues to be family-owned, and the next generations plan to build on the broad experience and credibility which the company enjoys, by delivering excellent service and products.
We are continuously evolving in response to changing consumer needs and expectations, by offering more sophisticated direct, collaborative and on-line routes to market. Our ambition is to become Ireland’s leading specialist confectionery provider, across the island of Ireland.
WHAT WE DO…
Shelton markets premium confectionery brands. We service nationwide the multiple, wholesale, convenience retail, foodservice and on-line channels through our direct field sales personnel, telesales and online support networks.
We work with our international partners to create bespoke strategies and joint business plans, to build brand presence national distribution. We are passionate about understanding our customers and consumer needs by tracking new trends, and providing the best commercial solutions. Bringing this considered added value is vital to our customers’ success, while the continuous development of our client relationships is how we measure our own achievements.
Our professional team delivers on values and performance, through adapting proven Supply Chain Management processes, with real-time order capture and auditing facilities, and direct distribution to store.
Shelton now operates out of purpose-built Warehouse & Office premises in Rathcoole, on the outskirts of Dublin, and with easy access to all Irish national road networks.
